Michelle Billman: Michelle Billman currently owns and operates a consulting business for academic and career coaching and works as the Director of Business Operations for a contractor. Previously, she worked as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for an electronics company in San Jose, CA, and then worked with the Bethany Philippines Team as support staff. Michelle graduated with a B.A. from Bethany Global University and a B.S. in Business Administration with minors in Organizational Communications and Economics from North Dakota State University. Michelle and her husband have four children.
Dan Brokke: Dan Brokke currently works as president of an organizational leadership/marketing firm, VisionServe, and president/CEO of Bethany International and Bethany Press. Previously, Dan worked for 24 years in the Christian publishing industry by providing leadership for DaySpring Cards, and then as Sr. Vice President and COO of David C. Cook Publishing. Dan has a BA in Theology and Christian Education from Azusa Pacific University, and a BA in Cross-Cultural Studies from Bethany Global University. Dan and his wife, Dona, have four children and five grandchildren.
Steve Bundy: Steve Bundy, Senior Vice President of Integration at Joni and Friends and founder of In His Image (a Christian ministry that provides support to parents of children with disabilities), has a passion for special-needs ministry. Steve holds a B.A. in Theology and Missions, a Certificate in Christian Apologetics and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership. He is a licensed minister and has served as both a pastor and missionary. Steve and his wife, Melissa, have one son.
Bill Couey: Bill Couey, SVP of Operations & People for Dayspring, also oversees the HR function of the company, which he has been with for the past 18 years. Prior to his current role, Bill served for six years as SVP of Greetings & Gifts. He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado. Bill and his wife, Cathy, have four grown children and five grandchildren.
Richard L. Engebretson: Richard L. Engebretson currently works as a partner in Wealthmetrics LLC. Previously, he was the Vice President of Aviva USA, Chairman and CEO of Trusted Advisors – a financial services company that he founded in 1989, and as an employee of KPMG (a leading global professional services firm). Richard received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Pace University in Pleasantville, New York. Richard and his wife, Jeanene, have four children and five grandchildren.
Tammy Feigal graduated with a B.A. from the University of South Florida. Her major was Elementary and Middle School Education with special certification to teach Math and Language Arts, and she minored in Business Administration and Marketing. She is married and has 4 children.
She served in ministry with Midwest Challenge, Inc. She began as an officer manager, developed a system for educating women in business skills towards a career. She served as accounting manager, in customer service, new product development, and marketing.
She started, ran, and finally sold a privately owned, gift industry company named Grapevine Gallery, Inc, which sold gift items to Hallmarks and other bookstores throughout America.
She served as C.E. Co-Director for Grace Church, Richfield, for 4 years. Where she served on the pastoral staff, managing meetings and programs, serving approximately 250 children (age 3 through 6th grade), providing training and guidance to the 70+ volunteers.
She also home-educated her 4 children for a total of 24 years, and started a support group that multiplied in three different cities in the metro area, and co-op for families called ACHIEVE. Recognizing the need for supplementing the home educator’s junior high and senior high years, she and Michelle Billman began South Heights Christian Classes, Inc., a for-profit company that provides classes to over 200 homeschool students in 7th – 12th grades. Tammy developed and taught a 4-course writing curriculum, leadership and study skills curriculum, a personal finance class, and a math class for struggling students. South Heights was so successful, that two other organizations were able to spring up. Tammy mentored and consulted these two organizations for each of their beginning 2 years.
She studied to become a neuro-developmental therapist, having always had a heart for people with challenges, and began HeartLife Integrations, Inc., a company designed to provide a holistic approach to development through an eclectic combination of multiple therapies. She continues to work in this field, along with mentoring others, who desire to grow their own businesses and ministries in this field.
Bethany Friere: Bethany Friere, Dean of Women at Bethany Global University, has a passion for raising up godly women in ministry. Previously, she served for six years with Teen Mania Ministries’ Honor Academy as both a Resident Director and Curriculum Manager. Bethany graduated with a BA degree from Liberty University and holds a Masters Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Bethany and her husband, Ken, are expecting their first child in Spring 2017.
Rolf Garborg: Rolf Garborg currently works as the president of his own consulting company, Garborg & Associates. Previously, he worked as the VP of Sales and Marketing for Successful Living, Head of Sales for Zondervan Publishing Co., and founder of Bethany Literature Fellowship and Editorial Betania. Rolf received both his Bachelors and his Masters from Bethany Global University (then Bethany College of Missions). Rolf and his wife, Mary, have two children and six grandchildren.
Roy D. Goodman: Roy D. Goodman currently is an independent consultant with Digital Portfolio, LLC and has over 20 years of experience in marketing and information technology leadership at Talen Energy, PPL, Medtronic, KPMG, NRG Energy and Cargill. Prior to starting a private sector career, Roy served in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. Roy holds a BA Degree in computer information systems from the University of Northwestern and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Roy and his wife, Kerri, have four children.
Theresa Hartford: Theresa Hartford currently serves as the Secretary and Treasurer for Bethany International’s Board of Trustees. Theresa has served with Bethany for over 35 years in a variety of roles, both overseas and at the home office. She is the Assistant Director of Bethany Gateways, and previously served 10 years as International Director of the mission. Theresa holds a BA from Bethany Missionary Training Center (Bethany Global University). Theresa and her husband, Paul, live in Minnesota and have three children and eight grandchildren.
Ron Have is the founder and President of Freightmasters Logistics Inc., and has served in that capacity for forty five years. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration. In 2015 his wife of forty one years passed away after a two year battle with Leukemia. They were blessed to have three daughters who are all happily married and blessed him with nine grandchildren. Ron is presently serving on the Board of Regents at Luther College of Decorah Iowa. He is a board member emeritus for University of Minnesota Center for Transportation Studies, and on the Accreditation Review Board for the School of Technology and Environmental Studies St Cloud State University St Cloud MN. He is a past board member and chairman of VEAP our regional food shelf and wellbeing organization, and past chair for 12 years of the Minnesota Transportation Advisory Council for the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Ron served for six years on the Transportation Advisory Board for the Metropolitan Council. He is a two term past congregation President and forty year member of the stewardship committee of our family church St Stephen Lutheran Church Bloomington MN.
John Kayser: John Kayser, an international training consultant for Bethany International, has been with Bethany since 1993, first working in Singapore as Dean of the Bethany School of Missions for three years, then as Africa Coordinator and Training Consultant for four years. Before that, he worked for 17 years on faculty at Prairie Bible College and Seminary. John has a PhD in Missiological Education from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland), an MA in Missiology from Grace Theological Seminary, and a BA in Theology from the Prairie Bible Institute. John specializes in missions curriculum development and program design.
Paul Strand: Paul Strand, a missionary training consultant for Bethany’s GlobeServe, also serves on the board of U.S. Center for World Mission. Previously, he was a missionary in Indonesia for 15 years, Instructor of Missions at Bethany Global University, President of Bethany Fellowship International for seven years. Paul has an MA in Missiology from Fuller School of World Missions, a BS from the University of Minnesota, and a Diploma in Bible and Missions from Bethany Global University.
