Tim’s passion for partnership development has taken him to more than 75 countries. He heads up Bethany Partners, which develops strategic relationships that focus on cross-cultural disciple-making among the unreached through national partners. He also heads up the Bethany Research Institute team and its efforts to study ways in which church planting movements begin and grow among unreached people groups. From 1981-1996 he led Bethany’s church planting efforts among the Ilokano people of Northern Luzon in the Philippines.
Tim received a B.A. in Theology & Missions from Bethany Global University (BGU), M.A. in Intercultural Leadership from BGU, and is a Ph.D. Candidate at Bethany International University Singapore. He and his wife Carol love to travel, garden, and read. They have five grown children and four grandchildren.
