The STEM teams in Haiti this summer have been a wonderful mix of young and old and of varying racial and ethnic backgrounds. For instance, the last team had two grandmas, one black, one white, and two young Asian men including a Harvard College student. One participant commented, “Haiti has been an eye-opening experience for me. This is the first working (construction, painting, playing with kids etc.) ministry that I have been involved with. It has been fascinating.”
