We have had first-hand reports about the work of our college interns in recent weeks. One way we heard from the interns was via Skype during our prayer and fasting chapel. It was a great way to interact with students at two Global Intern sites.
Paul and Theresa H. have ministered to the interns at these sites by teaching, giving encouragement, praying and just hanging out and sight-seeing with them. Sixteen months can seem like a long time, but how quickly it goes by and how short a time it is in the scope of a lifetime. These are formative years-transformational! We want them to learn and receive everything the Lord has for them.
Please continue praying for us as we seek to send more teams to help with healing & restoration in Haiti. We’re facing obstacles such as high air fare and fear of cholera that are holding people back from joining our efforts there.
Our host in Haiti is anxious to receive more teams and we hope to have teams down there each month beginning as early as December.
John and Kathie P. represented Bethany International Ministries, Short-Term Evangelical Missions, International, and Bethany Center for Global Studies at the annual Missions Week at Northwestern College recently. The theme for the week was Unreached People Groups-Home and Abroad. We were one of ten mission agencies invited for the week. There was a lot of great interaction with students. Pray that many of them will take the next steps for impacting the Unreached.
