Recently a missions conference was hosted at the Altonia Bible School by JUMIB, the Brazilian missionary sending agency.  Paul and Elizabeth Strand were guest speakers for the conference.  Paul told about his journey into missions, and also gave a message on the unfinished task.  Students were greatly impacted by the news of the unfinished task. Gary and Sherry Hauter wrote, “Paul’s missionary experience, studies and travel, together with his deep humility gave him an authority to say things in such a fashion that you could not help asking yourself HOW can I get involved?”  JUMIB has 42 missionaries serving in 7 countries.  Adriel Souza da Conceição, the Missions Director for JUMIB, and his wife, Simone, have lived on Bethany’s campus this year building their English skills and strengthening partnership with Bethany.  This month they will return to Brazil to resume responsibilities at the missions base in Campinas.
