At the end of this week students will be heading home. On Wednesday we will recognize the one-year certificate recipients.
Next week three global intern teams return from their 16-months of ministry overseas and will begin their final term as seniors. This is always an exciting time of the year.
So far forty-two students are accepted for the fall semester at BCOM. In addition to this, another 31 students are in process of completing their application.
Continue to join with us as we trust the Lord to bring a great group of young people in August to study at the College.
Bethany Center for Global Studies
T. Gamble Video Productions out of Lindstrom, MN is filming commercials for Bethany Center for Global Studies and Bethany College of Missions. The two commercials will be 60 second spots that will air on the Religious Broadcasting Network on Direct TV starting at the end of May. The segments will also be available online.
The national Short-Term Mission Leaders Conference sponsored by STEM Int’l and Bethany was this weekend. In addition to the 100 plus attendees, they had special guests:
Dr. Stephen Kabachia, senior pastor of Agape Fellowship Center and East Africa Regional Coordinator for DAWN Africa as a plenary speaker. The other plenary speaker was Brian Heerwagen, executive director of Delta Ministries, a short-term mission agency from Vancouver, Washington. Beverly Fagan is the on-field coordinator for STEM teams in Jamaica.
Katia Alvarado Ulloa (BCOM 2004) and husband Miguel Ulloa presented workshops on their ministry of leading STEM teams in Haiti.
