Do you or someone you know have an interest in attending Bethany College of Missions? If so, check out “BCOM Preview” being held Mar 24 – 25. Not only is “Preview” an introduction to BCOM, but it is designed to challenge the hearts of young people to make God first in their lives and to consecrate themselves to His purposes and plans for their futures. Participants can register on our web site by going to http://www.bcom.org/preview. There is a discounted rate for groups of three or more. Parents and pastors are welcome and encouraged to attend as well.

BCOM Enrollment Update

Twenty-three students are accepted for Bethany College of Mission’s fall term. In addition to this, 94 applications are in process (15 of these are international students). We invite you to ask the Lord to direct students to Bethany who are passionate for taking the church to where it does not exist.

Commission 2011

Loren Cunningham is the keynote speaker at “Commission 2011” on Saturday, April 16. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to hear from the leader of Youth With a Mission.

Bethany International Ministries

Please pray for the Bible schools and Missions Training programs in Brazil, Chile and Paraguay as they begin the new school year.

Amy O. now a Missionary Appointee with BIM. Amy plans to locate in Thailand this fall to serve in an expanded role in Global Internship leadership.

Denis A. will depart for Russia on March 10 to serve two months under Bethany partnering with a ministry that picks up orphan boys after they get sent out from the orphanages at age 16. The boys are discipled and equipped with life skills. Pray for Denis as he serves in the boys’ home and has an opportunity to explore if this is a good long-term ministry fit.

Candidacy with our Mission Agency

Corey and Jill H., Ashley G., Katie I. and Melissa M. are in the current candidacy course through March 11. Pray for each of them as they prepare for the ministry God is placing on their hearts.

Short-term Evangelical Missions

STEM has a team in the Middle East participating in a larger prayer-event designed to have on-site prayer in every city and village in a province along the Mediterranean. As the team of nine travels from town to town, they are meeting villagers who are truly surprised to see them in these out-of-the-way spots. Please pray for opportunities to share the love of Jesus heart-to-heart with this huge unreached people group. Please also pray for travel safety as they’ll be covering many miles.
